Firma Barnängen's Jonathan Löv suffered a concussion in the 14th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Firma Barnängen's Claes Carlsson was substituted for Jonathan Löv. In the 15th minute, Wolfram Mattheis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Firma Barnängen were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mirko Saßmannshausen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Humberto Alcaraz got free with Bastian Abel in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rune Söder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Friedrich Reubold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, Firma Barnängen's goal looked a bit too open when Wolfram Mattheis came free, but Rune Söder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rune Söder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mirko Saßmannshausen, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Rune Söder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mirko Saßmannshausen in the 69th minute of the match. Claes Carlsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Bastian Abel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mirko Saßmannshausen couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the match, FC Eisenberg's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Olsson came free, but Bastian Abel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wolfram Mattheis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rune Söder having to make a save. FC Eisenberg were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
