After a defensive mix-up in Birra Cultura F.C's zone, Lucas Arce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Maria França came out of the goal and Lucas Arce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 6th minute Gabi Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Maria França saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atilano Romelio made in the 8th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Eugeniusz Kaczanek. José Maria França showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabi Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Lucas Arce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but José Maria França made a huge save. Gabi Gol might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Maria França. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabi Gol ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabi Gol got free with José Maria França in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gabi Gol was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 17th minute. América-SC F.C.'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Birra Cultura F.C's José Maria França proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Birra Cultura F.C from getting a goal against them. América-SC F.C.'s attentive Lucas Arce managed to snatch the ball when Bartoli Duyos made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. 21 minutes into the match, América-SC F.C.'s Gabi Gol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Maria França narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 22nd minute of the match América-SC F.C. got a corner. Birra Cultura F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elder Domingues ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led América-SC F.C.'s Lucas Arce to fire away a dangerous shot which José Maria França despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience was convinced that Gabi Gol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Maria França was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. In the 25th match minute, América-SC F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabi Gol to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the game, Bartoli Duyos threw the ball into play from the sideline. América-SC F.C.'s Téo Cordeiro quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 37 minutes of play, Birra Cultura F.C's Eugeniusz Kaczanek made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nestor Quirino was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 41st minute, Birra Cultura F.C's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Elder Domingues fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hílton Penha made a kick off. If Elder Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. América-SC F.C.'s Resul Erdemalp was substituted for Elder Domingues. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eckart Obels got free with Nestor Quirino in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. José Maria França showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabi Gol in the 62nd minute of the match. José Maria França came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by América-SC F.C.'s Gabi Gol. But to his dismay, Gabi Gol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. With 80 minutes on the clock, Koldobika Villalain commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, Birra Cultura F.C's Koldobika Villalain got a free kick in the 81st minute. América-SC F.C.'s Edson Faria couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 81st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Birra Cultura F.C. José Maria França showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edson Faria in the 85th minute of the match. With a little luck, América-SC F.C.'s Nestor Quirino got control of the ball when Eckart Obels tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 87th minute, Eugeniusz Kaczanek reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nestor Quirino. The goal made the score 1-3. The supporters of América-SC F.C. booed when Birra Cultura F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atilano Romelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Maria França didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabi Gol went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Guga Simão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Maria França having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Birra Cultura F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Gabi Gol came free, but José Maria França reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
