The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Franja Dorada. 80 minutes into the game, Eddy Worrall cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Valentin Licerio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Franja Dorada defense, Prudencio Maju kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valentin Licerio. The Franja Dorada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valentin Licerio should have stopped the shot. 86 minutes into the match, Prudencio Maju notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Franja Dorada's Valentin Licerio. Valentin Licerio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Halim Tetiker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Valentin Licerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentin Licerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birkan Cam in the 95th minute of the match. Franja Dorada's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
