In the 32nd minute Aureliano Karlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Emmanuel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goal looked a bit too open when Mete Gol came free, but Roberto Eztebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aureliano Karlo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Ernesto Emmanuel made a huge save. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Madison's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dawid Beckham was slow to take the kick. During this time AFC FUSION's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Dawid Beckham got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ernesto Emmanuel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The AFC FUSION players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Madison were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aureliano Karlo was the one to do the kick off. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roberto Eztebe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ernesto Emmanuel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Rios in the 68th minute of the match. If Germano Bettencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ás Ronaldo hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the game, AFC FUSION's Lino Rios nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ernesto Emmanuel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 79 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goal looked a bit too open when Mete Gol came free, but Roberto Eztebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alejo Marcones's late challenge caught a AFC FUSION's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alejo Marcones helped the player get up and apologised. After 87 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Madison! Ernesto Emmanuel had in the 89thth minute some difficulties stopping Lino Rios's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Cristos Ponce got a throw-in 90 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Omar Osasun. In the 90th match minute, Madison was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ege Træet to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the match, Lino Rios had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernesto Emmanuel. Madison's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lino Rios was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. AFC FUSION's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
