When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mike Tardy made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Made in Honduras's goalkeeper Wang Shi Ying had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ilias Vidalis. Atletico de Madrid's Marcelo Frans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ben Delaune in the 53rd minute of play. Wang Shi Ying didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ilias Vidalis went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 72 minutes into the match, Atletico de Madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Ben Delaune came free, but Marcelo Frans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ben Delaune sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Made in Honduras's Ruth Schilder was substituted for Mike Tardy. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giannis Barbikas during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Made in Honduras booed when Atletico de Madrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giannis Barbikas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Made in Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico de Madrid the free kick. In the 89th minute Charis Sakalakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wang Shi Ying saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Ben Delaune had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelo Frans. Atletico de Madrid's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ben Delaune was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
