When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

AC Milan's Jared Wolfman managed to work through Valencia C.F.'s defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Jared Wolfman dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. A collision led to Valencia C.F. getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Yuan Wei Han hit a great ball. Jerry Lodge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jared Wolfman, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jardel Head in the 57th minute of play forced Valencia C.F.'s goalkeeper Jerry Lodge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute Jardel Head shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerry Lodge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Jardel Head quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Valencia C.F.'s Jerry Lodge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Furkan Vargın in the 76th minute of play. AC Milan were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after Valencia C.F.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Qi Le Xiao took the corner.
