Trifillia.FC's Christos Agathoulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petros Kalivrousis in the 6th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Petros Kalivrousis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christos Agathoulis. Trifillia.FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Petros Kalivrousis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Takis Gonatas during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 19 played minutes Dhafnospiliá BC got a freekick which was hit by Takis Gonatas. In the 21st minute, Takis Gonatas made a precise shot to the right of Christos Agathoulis. Trifillia.FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The audience was convinced that Takis Gonatas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christos Agathoulis was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Nikos Tournas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikos Kakavetsis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Trifillia.FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christos Agathoulis should have stopped the shot. Nikos Tournas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vaggelis Kalpis in the 40th minute. Nicasio Guijarro took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christos Agathoulis. Christos Agathoulis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. In the 46th minute, Petros Kalivrousis made a precise shot to the right of Christos Agathoulis. Trifillia.FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Jassem Al Khars made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Dhafnospiliá BC defense, Nikos Kakavetsis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nikos Tournas. The Dhafnospiliá BC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nikos Tournas should have stopped the shot. After 58 played minutes Trifillia.FC got a freekick which was hit by Nikos Kakavetsis. Dhafnospiliá BC's Filippos Kourabies was substituted for Sakis Matzios. A collision led to Trifillia.FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Nikos Kakavetsis hit a great ball. Christos Agathoulis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stavros Prasinos in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Takis Gonatas in the 62nd minute of play forced Trifillia.FC's goalkeeper Christos Agathoulis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute Nikos Kakavetsis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikos Tournas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 66 minutes of play, Dhafnospiliá BC's Panos Telakis made it 2-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christos Agathoulis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Petros Kalivrousis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Christos Agathoulis made a huge save. In the 72nd minute, Takis Gonatas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dhafnospiliá BC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-8. Trifillia.FC's Christos Agathoulis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Trifillia.FC from getting a goal against them. 87 minutes into the game, Petros Kalivrousis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-9. Christos Agathoulis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 90 minutes into the match, Trifillia.FC's goalkeeper Christos Agathoulis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stavros Prasinos. Dimitris Stavrinos kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Christos Agathoulis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Owen Colbert in the 97th minute of play.
