The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Herberto Abreu came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Eléctricos F.C.'s Kong Zhi Wei. But to his dismay, Kong Zhi Wei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 17 minutes into the game, Eléctricos F.C.'s Kong Zhi Wei nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Herberto Abreu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. TAVIRA FC's Herberto Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kong Zhi Wei in the 20th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kong Zhi Wei in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herberto Abreu saved TAVIRA FC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Kong Zhi Wei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herberto Abreu was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. 35 minutes into the match, Kong Zhi Wei had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Herberto Abreu. TAVIRA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kong Zhi Wei was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. In the 37th minute, TAVIRA FC's Alexandre Semedo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tonio Bergada. Herberto Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Intriago Herquinigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute, Dario Negrini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, TAVIRA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kong Zhi Wei came free, but Herberto Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-6 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kong Zhi Wei was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute of the match Eléctricos F.C. got a corner. TAVIRA FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ambrossi Ciaran ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Kong Zhi Wei almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but TAVIRA FC's Herberto Abreu did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kong Zhi Wei in the 58th minute of play forced TAVIRA FC's goalkeeper Herberto Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Eléctricos F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-8. Jérémie Sarmiento received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Herberto Abreu came out and tried to block the shot, but Jérémie Sarmiento slotted it home off the left post making it 1-9 in the 93rd minute. Eléctricos F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
