The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Daniël De Goeij showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gong Yi Feng in the 2nd minute of the match. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by Limoeiro-PE FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edmundo Carvalho was slow to take the kick. During this time Renascer's players had a chance to rest. 5 minutes into the match, Limoeiro-PE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Carvalho came free, but Daniël De Goeij reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniël De Goeij took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute, Edmundo Carvalho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniël De Goeij was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Limoeiro-PE FC's Gino do Valle in 11 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Donato Souza guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Donato Souza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gino do Valle in the 13th minute. Renascer's Donato Souza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Renascer from getting a goal against them. When Limoeiro-PE FC's Gino do Valle in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Renascer's goalie prevented a goal. Daniël De Goeij came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Renascer's Edmundo Carvalho. But to his dismay, Edmundo Carvalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 22 minutes into the match, Limoeiro-PE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Horácio Maciel came free, but Daniël De Goeij reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Ian Melo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Limoeiro-PE FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Renascer the free kick. A collision led to Limoeiro-PE FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ian Melo hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the game, Renascer's Edmundo Carvalho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniël De Goeij made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. When Renascer's Horácio Maciel in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Limoeiro-PE FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 39th minute Horácio Maciel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniël De Goeij saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Limoeiro-PE FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Tomás Cabral hit a great ball. Edmundo Carvalho didn't quite understand what happened when in the 42 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Daniël De Goeij showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gong Yi Feng, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Richard Neto made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Limoeiro-PE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gong Yi Feng came free, but Daniël De Goeij reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomás Cabral hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Richard Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Limoeiro-PE FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Willian Vaz hit a great ball. Horácio Maciel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniël De Goeij having to interfere. Daniël De Goeij made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Horácio Maciel sent off a good shot on target. Renascer's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edmundo Carvalho in the 64th minute. The corner ended in Edmundo Carvalho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Limoeiro-PE FC's Daniël De Goeij did a great save. The throw-in from Rômulo Abraão in the 66th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Limoeiro-PE FC's Ian Melo. In the 69th minute Gong Yi Feng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniël De Goeij saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Limoeiro-PE FC's Daniël De Goeij got control of the ball when Horácio Maciel tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 72nd minute Edmundo Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniël De Goeij saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Limoeiro-PE FC made a substitution. Robert Lozovan replaced Gino do Valle. Donato Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Limoeiro-PE FC's Daniël De Goeij played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gong Yi Feng in the 81st minute of play. The supporters of Renascer booed when Limoeiro-PE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Edmundo Carvalho from long distance, 84 minutes into the match, got Daniël De Goeij's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 88 minutes into the game, Richard Neto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Donato Souza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 92 minutes into the game, Horácio Maciel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Daniël De Goeij. Horácio Maciel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. The Renascer players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
