After a defensive mix-up in DALO S.C.'s zone, Joseph Smits stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaias Perojo came out of the goal and Joseph Smits tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ulises Steven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lode Van Hemel in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute, DALO S.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Joseph Smits fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 11th minute of the game Putte von der Putten made a throw-in which Emilio Vispieres played forward. Ulises Steven took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Vispieres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AFC Koolkerke's Ulises Steven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Vera in the 13th minute of play. Robertinho Carabajal's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Isaias Perojo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 21st match minute, DALO S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zernin Alcega to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Robertinho Carabajal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isaias Perojo. DALO S.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robertinho Carabajal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. With a little luck, DALO S.C.'s Isaias Perojo got control of the ball when Joseph Smits tried to sneak it across the goal line. Isaias Perojo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robertinho Carabajal in the 29th minute of play. Joseph Smits could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Isaias Perojo made a huge save. Isaias Perojo made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Joseph Smits sent off a good shot on target. AFC Koolkerke's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joseph Smits in the 35th minute. The corner ended in Joseph Smits almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but DALO S.C.'s Isaias Perojo did a great save. In the 37th minute, Fausto Respaldizar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AFC Koolkerke were furious when Christer Sunde was red carded, 41 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, AFC Koolkerke's Christer Sunde got a free kick in the 41st minute. Robertinho Carabajal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Isaias Perojo made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emilio Vispieres made a kick off. Ulises Steven made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lode Van Hemel in the 53rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emilio Vispieres got free with Ulises Steven in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joseph Smits recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joseph Smits took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isaias Perojo. Isaias Perojo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. DALO S.C.'s Isaias Perojo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clóvis Bittencourt in the 63rd minute of play. The supporters of DALO S.C. booed when AFC Koolkerke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robertinho Carabajal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joseph Smits might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isaias Perojo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joseph Smits ran back to his position shaking his head. AFC Koolkerke's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joseph Smits in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the match, AFC Koolkerke's Joseph Smits sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isaias Perojo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 78th minute AFC Koolkerke were awarded a corner. Joseph Smits went to the cornerflag to take it. Joseph Smits sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 87 minutes of play, AFC Koolkerke's Robertinho Carabajal made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isaias Perojo was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Joseph Smits came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the AFC Koolkerke fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joseph Smits couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. AFC Koolkerke had won after a very even match.
