With a little luck, the Red Devils's Sören Glanselius got control of the ball when Hugo Guerra tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to the Red Devils getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Evarado Parada hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Hugo Guerra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sören Glanselius was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Sören Glanselius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Guerra in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the game, Furkan Erbay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Haroldas Strazdas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29th minute, one of the Red Devils:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for the Red Devils. When the match had been going on for 30 minutes, Spartans FC's Oğuzkan Yezid got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Sören Glanselius. 37 minutes into the match, the Red Devils's goalkeeper Sören Glanselius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sayed Mustafa. Sören Glanselius was a little too slow when Hugo Guerra got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 3-1. 46 minutes into the match, Spartans FC's goal looked a bit too open when Furkan Erbay came free, but Haroldas Strazdas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Furkan Erbay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. the Red Devils's Evarado Parada managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Edgar San Juan in the 50 minute of the game. In the 52nd minute of the match, Özer Üngörmüş got a very nice opportunity to score, but Haroldas Strazdas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 54th minute the Red Devils were awarded a corner. Selahaddin Yeler went to the cornerflag to take it. Hugo Guerra struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Sören Glanselius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spartans FC. In the 66th minute, Furkan Erbay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sören Glanselius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Guerra in the 67th minute of play. Hugo Guerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 74 minutes into the match, Spartans FC's goal looked a bit too open when Furkan Erbay came free, but Haroldas Strazdas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. the Red Devils's Evarado Parada quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Artemio Izaguirre, made in the 82nd minute of the game. 84 minutes into the match, the Red Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Guerra came free, but Sören Glanselius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Guerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 90 minutes, Hugo Guerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spartans FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Guerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
