In the 5th minute Wout Weghorst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orvar Bäckström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Wout Weghorst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Basavilbaso FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Adolfo Cordara hit a great ball. Orvar Bäckström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wout Weghorst showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. After some careless play in the Basavilbaso FC defense, Wout Weghorst kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Orvar Bäckström. The Basavilbaso FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Orvar Bäckström should have stopped the shot. Lucas Wensing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Orvar Bäckström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orvar Bäckström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wout Weghorst, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wout Weghorst in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orvar Bäckström saved Basavilbaso FC from getting behind. Orvar Bäckström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wout Weghorst's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Wout Weghorst scored 3-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Orvar Bäckström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute, Venancio Lop hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Basavilbaso FC's goalkeeper Orvar Bäckström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Basavilbaso FC's zone, Wout Weghorst stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orvar Bäckström came out of the goal and Wout Weghorst tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adolfo Cordara kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Wout Weghorst made the kick off in the second half. Wout Weghorst might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Orvar Bäckström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wout Weghorst ran back to his position shaking his head. Basavilbaso FC's Orvar Bäckström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wout Weghorst in the 53rd minute of play. Sacit Budak made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Clemente Rubio sent off a good shot on target. Wout Weghorst blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Orvar Bäckström having to make a save. 56 minutes into the match, Basavilbaso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wout Weghorst came free, but Orvar Bäckström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Wout Weghorst's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orvar Bäckström was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. If Wout Weghorst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Orvar Bäckström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wout Weghorst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orvar Bäckström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wout Weghorst went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. If Ertuğrul Gazi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Ertuğrul Gazi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Orvar Bäckström. Basavilbaso FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ertuğrul Gazi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Basavilbaso FC's Orvar Bäckström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Wensing in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute of the match 1903 Barranspor ☪ got a corner. Basavilbaso FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ertuğrul Gazi ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 77thth minute of the game Ertuğrul Gazi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Basavilbaso FC's Orvar Bäckström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 1903 Barranspor ☪'s Ersen Cakir managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Henric Springfält in the 78 minute of the game. Basavilbaso FC:s Orvar Bäckström showed great skill when he stopped Ertuğrul Gazi:s penalty. 1903 Barranspor ☪ were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Basavilbaso FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ertuğrul Gazi took the corner. After a defensive mix-up in Basavilbaso FC's zone, Ricard Quaresma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orvar Bäckström came out of the goal and Ricard Quaresma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 92 minutes into the game, 1903 Barranspor ☪'s Ertuğrul Gazi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Orvar Bäckström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. The audience was convinced that Ertuğrul Gazi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orvar Bäckström was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. In a very dangerous position, a player in Basavilbaso FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 96th minute. Penalty! A throw-in in the 99th minute of the game was made by Henric Springfält with Ruben Gentza as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When the referee ended the match the 1903 Barranspor ☪ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
