In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Super Chechona FC's goalkeeper Severo Montrelle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Severo Montrelle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Amaral's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Super Chechona FC's goalkeeper Severo Montrelle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximiliano Omar. The audience was convinced that Federico Girotti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Afonso Vargas was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. After 30 minutes of play, Brazil Academy's Maximiliano Omar made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 39th minute, Celedonio Iratze got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gildo Braga hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Federico Girotti made the kick off in the second half. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Omar in the 60th minute of play forced Super Chechona FC's goalkeeper Severo Montrelle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Brazil Academy getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Gildo Braga hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute, Federico Girotti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Super Chechona FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Afonso Vargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Girotti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
