With an extended leg and a bit of luck Turgut Talha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Codrin Barbăneagră made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Chayo in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Abar in the 83rd minute of play forced AC Milan Tigers's goalkeeper Codrin Barbăneagră to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Deportivo Español's Turgut Talha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Club Deportivo Español from getting a goal against them. After 88 played minutes Club Deportivo Español got a freekick which was hit by Matias Chayo. Turgut Talha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Răuţă in the 92nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Martin Răuţă's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Turgut Talha was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. In the 94th minute Jose Abar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codrin Barbăneagră saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Matias Chayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AC Milan Tigers's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
