An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruslan Tikhonov in the 6th minute of play forced Korona Kielce's goalkeeper Raimo Ülend to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute Isaac Andrews shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimo Ülend saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matthias Brandin made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Agostinho Negri sent off a good shot on target. In the 13th minute of the match Korona Kielce got a corner. Alexandrie CF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dave Legzdins ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Bartosz Rymaniak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Korona Kielce's Agostinho Negri got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 17 minutes into the game, Eleuterio Cesario was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alexandrie CF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Korona Kielce the free kick. In the 17th match minute, Alexandrie CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleuterio Cesario to maneuver through the defense. 1-0 became the score in the 20th minute when Agostinho Negri elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Isaac Andrews had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raimo Ülend. Korona Kielce's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isaac Andrews was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agostinho Negri in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matthias Brandin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Matthias Brandin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agostinho Negri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wang Guang Chuan lost his temper 44 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Alexandrie CF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Korona Kielce:s goal. When the match had been going on for 47 minutes, Korona Kielce's Agostinho Negri got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Matthias Brandin.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Conceicão to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Agostinho Negri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Korona Kielce's supporters rose to their feet, but Agostinho Negri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matthias Brandin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Korona Kielce's Niculae Biriș managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eleuterio Cesario in the 58 minute of the game. In the 95th match minute, Korona Kielce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Krorby to maneuver through the defense. Korona Kielce's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
