After some careless play in the • REGINA • defense, Alf Elg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dobromir Szarmach. The • REGINA • fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dobromir Szarmach should have stopped the shot. In the 15th minute Flavio Troiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dobromir Szarmach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dobromir Szarmach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Elg, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 19th match minute, • REGINA • was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albino Sol to maneuver through the defense. Serafim Queiroz struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Dobromir Szarmach didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Bertioga. Bruninho Vaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Lehoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, SC Bertioga's Anderson Pombal got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Bruninho Vaz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. • REGINA • were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after SC Bertioga's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Celso Poncio took the corner. Gildo de Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dobromir Szarmach having to interfere. Dobromir Szarmach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alf Elg in the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, one of • REGINA •:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for • REGINA •. 37 minutes into the match, Alf Elg notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of • REGINA •'s Dobromir Szarmach. Dobromir Szarmach was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Anderson Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute Gildo de Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dobromir Szarmach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Fanuco hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Gildo de Lima's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dobromir Szarmach read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by • REGINA •'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Serafim Queiroz was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Bertioga's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of • REGINA •'s goalie and right to Rômulo Mazza. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. • REGINA •'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After the first half SC Bertioga were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alf Elg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Gildo de Lima could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Dobromir Szarmach however easily saved by the left post. With an all-out effort, SC Bertioga's Dobromir Szarmach threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Flavio Troiano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bruninho Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laureano Primeiro in the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alf Elg in the 55th minute of play forced • REGINA •'s goalkeeper Dobromir Szarmach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Gildo de Lima ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dobromir Szarmach was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. In the 64th minute Anderson Pombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dobromir Szarmach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laureano Primeiro in the 65th minute of play forced SC Bertioga's goalkeeper Bruninho Vaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to • REGINA • getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Csaba Markovits hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anderson Pombal in the 73rd minute of play forced • REGINA •'s goalkeeper Dobromir Szarmach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. • REGINA • made a substitution. Al Bundy replaced Laureano Primeiro. • REGINA •'s Baldomero Emenon was substituted for Celso Poncio. In the 79th minute, Csaba Markovits hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. But to his dismay, Gildo de Lima quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. In the 85th minute, SC Bertioga's Flavio Troiano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. If Anderson Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, SC Bertioga's Anderson Pombal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. Bruninho Vaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Al Bundy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruninho Vaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Al Bundy in the 97th minute of play.
