In the 18th minute, Claus Rijmenans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alam Wah was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After having played for 24 minutes, Khairul Cho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LiverBird Flyers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Khairul Cho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Loui Volens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Khairul Cho's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. 36 minutes into the match, LiverBird Flyers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Claus Rijmenans came free, but Alam Wah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. LiverBird Flyers FC's Alam Wah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barry Van Bever in the 38th minute of play. Loui Volens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carl Grimes went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Loui Volens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Khairul Cho in the 43rd minute. A collision led to De Beverpatrouille getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Claus Rijmenans hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Göktürk Demir made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Göktürk Demir had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Loui Volens. De Beverpatrouille's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Göktürk Demir was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Harald Smits's late challenge caught a LiverBird Flyers FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harald Smits helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, De Beverpatrouille's Harald Smits got a free kick in the 55th minute. Angelo Stoffels charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelo Stoffels the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 57 played minutes De Beverpatrouille got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Stoffels. In the 60th match minute, De Beverpatrouille was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robby Caspers to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khairul Cho in the 61st minute of play forced De Beverpatrouille's goalkeeper Loui Volens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Loui Volens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khairul Cho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Ning hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute of the match Ronald Meynen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alam Wah showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Loui Volens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khairul Cho, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Loui Volens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göktürk Demir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Loui Volens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carl Grimes in the 73rd minute of the match. Stephen Everts hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. A sloppy throw-in by Gérard Van Bever in the 76th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by LiverBird Flyers FC's Jonathan Abisheganaden. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Göktürk Demir put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Loui Volens. Loui Volens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Grimes in the 80th minute of play. Loui Volens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khairul Cho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
