The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Yakut Vecihi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zhou Zhen Zhen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Garcia having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yakut Vecihi in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Álvaro Garcia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abbotsford FC's Lei Wei Lin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Chesus in the 8th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yakut Vecihi in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Álvaro Garcia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 11 minutes into the game, Pierre Haeberle threw the ball into play from the sideline. SLB TELHA's João Assunção quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 13 minutes into the game, Yakut Vecihi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Álvaro Garcia. Yakut Vecihi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Álvaro Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denny Commons in the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, SLB TELHA's goal looked a bit too open when Yakut Vecihi came free, but Álvaro Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Álvaro Garcia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Denny Commons in the 17th minute. Álvaro Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yakut Vecihi in the 20th minute of play. Pierre Haeberle made in the 26th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Zhou Zhen Zhen. Álvaro Garcia was a little too slow when Zhou Zhen Zhen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 2-0. After 35 minutes SLB TELHA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pierre Haeberle who took care of the corner kick. Parker Macinnes made a great header on Abbotsford FC's corner, it was just that SLB TELHA's Álvaro Garcia managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yakut Vecihi in the 36th minute of play forced SLB TELHA's goalkeeper Álvaro Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A wasted opportunity for SLB TELHA. 57 minutes into the match, SLB TELHA's goal looked a bit too open when Denny Commons came free, but Álvaro Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Álvaro Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denny Commons, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abbotsford FC's Zhou Zhen Zhen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Álvaro Garcia in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 68th minute, Denny Commons made a precise shot to the right of Álvaro Garcia. SLB TELHA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. SLB TELHA's attentive João Assunção managed to snatch the ball when Pierre Haeberle made a throw-in in the 76th minute of the game. Lei Wei Lin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Ribas, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Álvaro Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yakut Vecihi in the 77th minute of the match. Abbotsford FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
