Spectators: 187 (Terracing: 141, Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edwin Grabert took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes SORRISO E. C. got a freekick which was hit by Murilo Prestes. 9 minutes into the match, Savage Hippo's goal looked a bit too open when Murilo Prestes came free, but Bengt-Arne Askstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute Murilo Prestes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Arne Askstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caco Azevedo was a little too slow when Edwin Grabert got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 2-0. Ryszard Iwanowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Edwin Grabert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Caco Azevedo. SORRISO E. C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edwin Grabert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in SORRISO E. C.'s zone, Edwin Grabert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caco Azevedo came out of the goal and Edwin Grabert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29thth minute of the game Edwin Grabert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SORRISO E. C.'s Caco Azevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bengt-Arne Askstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryszard Iwanowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Edwin Grabert kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Caco Azevedo. That made the score 4-0 in the 34 minute of play. SORRISO E. C.'s attentive Edmílson da Rocha managed to snatch the ball when Aleksander Walec made a throw-in in the 38th minute of the game. Caco Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edwin Grabert, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Murilo Prestes to make the kick off. SORRISO E. C.'s Caco Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edwin Grabert in the 53rd minute of play. After 57 played minutes SORRISO E. C. got a freekick which was hit by Edmílson da Rocha. If Edwin Grabert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bengt-Arne Askstedt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Murilo Prestes's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. In the 67th minute, Vilmantas Magdišauskas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Caco Azevedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Caco Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edwin Grabert, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 86th minute Edwin Grabert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caco Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to SORRISO E. C. getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Edmílson da Rocha hit a great ball. Edwin Grabert scored 6-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Caco Azevedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rd minute of the match, Ryszard Iwanowski got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bengt-Arne Askstedt was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Savage Hippo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
