With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brian Brennand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Łukasz Zwolinski made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Adelaide's zone, Enrique Saura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brian Brennand came out of the goal and Enrique Saura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The attack was good, but when Enrique Saura in the 78th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Enrique Saura sped through Adelaide's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Brian Brennand. Brian Brennand came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by 『挑战者』曾梦想仗剑走天涯's Edwin 雷林. But to his dismay, Edwin 雷林 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. 86 minutes into the game, Minko Gorolomov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 『挑战者』曾梦想仗剑走天涯's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Adelaide the free kick. In the 90thth minute of the game Enrique Saura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Adelaide's Brian Brennand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 95th match minute, Adelaide was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cod Sperling to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Edwin 雷林 managed to get in a good position for a shot. 『挑战者』曾梦想仗剑走天涯's supporters rose to their feet, but Edwin 雷林 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brian Brennand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nic Verheijd kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. 『挑战者』曾梦想仗剑走天涯 played a much better game than Adelaide and deserved their victory. The Adelaide players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
