Spectators: 784 (Terracing: 589, Seating: 180, VIP seats: 15) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Victorino Peake started the match with the kick off. BANDOLEIROS osasco's Karl Pilgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximino Astudillo in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, BANDOLEIROS osasco's goalkeeper Karl Pilgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vitaliy Fedchenko. After some careless play in the FC Anderlecht Huachipato defense, Billy Sandström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serbülent Baysan. The FC Anderlecht Huachipato fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serbülent Baysan should have stopped the shot. Karl Pilgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximino Astudillo in the 29th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Billy Sandström managed to get in a good position for a shot. BANDOLEIROS osasco's supporters rose to their feet, but Billy Sandström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serbülent Baysan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billy Sandström in the 33rd minute of play forced FC Anderlecht Huachipato's goalkeeper Serbülent Baysan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. BANDOLEIROS osasco's Karl Pilgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save BANDOLEIROS osasco from getting a goal against them. Billy Sandström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serbülent Baysan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

52 minutes into the match, FC Anderlecht Huachipato's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Sandström came free, but Serbülent Baysan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ziemowit Haskiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Serbülent Baysan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Paul Crouch in the 59th minute of the match. FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Eufemio Ehijo was substituted for Vitaliy Fedchenko. 65 minutes into the match, BANDOLEIROS osasco's Peter Paul Crouch sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serbülent Baysan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Anderlecht Huachipato's goalkeeper Serbülent Baysan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 78 played minutes BANDOLEIROS osasco got a freekick which was hit by Benedito Valentim. Peter Paul Crouch blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Serbülent Baysan having to make a save. Beto Toledo hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Victorino Peake scored 2-3 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl Pilgren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 90 minutes into the match, BANDOLEIROS osasco's goal looked a bit too open when Eufemio Ehijo came free, but Karl Pilgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes in the game, Felix Txilar dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal.
