Corinthians Paulista's Johannes Kruuse ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Angelo Fresnos. Angelo Fresnos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 5th minute, Edgard de Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Johannes Kruuse could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Angelo Fresnos made a huge save. FLAMENGO San Sebastian's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Johannes Kruuse scored to the left of an out of position Angelo Fresnos, making the score, 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Johannes Kruuse slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Angelo Fresnos. That made the score 3-0 after 15 minutes of play. In the 20th minute of the match S.C. Corinthians Paulista got a corner. FLAMENGO San Sebastian's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ciro da Silveira ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on S.C. Corinthians Paulista's corner Ciro da Silveira fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Angelo Fresnos quite easily take care of the ball. In the 20th match minute, FLAMENGO San Sebastian was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Dios to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 24 minutes, Johannes Kruuse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johannes Kruuse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd minute, Johannes Kruuse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FLAMENGO San Sebastian made a substitution. In the 35th minute Emiliano Pancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fırat Aytekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Evandro Trancoso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angelo Fresnos was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. After 79 minutes FLAMENGO San Sebastian's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ciro da Silveira who took care of the corner kick. 80 minutes into the match, S.C.
