Joel Caton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 25 minutes into the match, Loja S.C.'s goalkeeper Joel Caton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rocky Dejardin. Marcelo Urki kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Joel Caton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Skrzypiec, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Loja S.C.'s Joel Caton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tor Guarda in the 38th minute of play. Joel Caton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Skrzypiec in the 39th minute of the match. Jorge Mohammed stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Pascua's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felix Pascua to make the kick off. Rocky Dejardin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the match, Los Baisanos فلسطين's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Pascua came free, but Jorge Mohammed reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee ignored Loja S.C.'s protests and gave Hidalgo Gallegos a yellow card for diving instead. The throw-in from Alonzo Gipils in the 70th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Los Baisanos فلسطين's Froilan Bertran. Tor Guarda scored 2-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joel Caton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rocky Dejardin in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joel Caton saved Loja S.C. from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Skrzypiec in the 82nd minute of play forced Loja S.C.'s goalkeeper Joel Caton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Loja S.C.'s Pedro Gudesteo got a free kick in the 85th minute. Los Baisanos فلسطين's Samir Mustafa was substituted for Jörg Hannemann.
