In the 7th match minute, Loja S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo Gipils to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 9 minutes, Fabricio Vedeja managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Loja S.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabricio Vedeja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joel Caton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Ramon Lavalle got control of the ball when Fabricio Vedeja tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joel Caton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Ramon Lavalle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Pascua in the 25th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Pascua in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramon Lavalle saved C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE from getting behind. When C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Candido Lavalle in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Loja S.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Candido Lavalle in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Caton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th minute of the match C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE got a corner. Loja S.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Candido Lavalle ran over to the corner to take the kick. Emiliano Sayvion hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Reasco Landeros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Candido Lavalle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jaak Lavalle kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Victor Peres who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Ramon Lavalle when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Candido Lavalle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Joel Caton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41stth minute of the game Candido Lavalle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Loja S.C.'s Joel Caton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The Loja S.C. fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Loja S.C.'s Felix Pascua looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Loja S.C. made a substitution. Luis-Antonio Barraza replaced Felix Pascua. In the 63rd match minute, Loja S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Peres to maneuver through the defense. Joel Caton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ramon Lavalle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis-Antonio Barraza in the 77th minute of the match. Victor Peres scored 4-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ramon Lavalle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Ramon Lavalle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Peres in the 84th minute of play. Loja S.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Reasco Landeros in the 86th minute. The corner ended in Reasco Landeros almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Ramon Lavalle did a great save. 90 minutes into the match, Loja S.C.'s goalkeeper Joel Caton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonatan Cidro. A collision led to Loja S.C. getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Victor Peres hit a great ball. Joel Caton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaak Lavalle, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Ramon Lavalle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Peres in the 95th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Loja S.C..
