In the 17th minute Xzaiver Cabalar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everardo Ado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Armando Lamb in the 19th minute of play forced Nadie nos Para's goalkeeper Gregorio Illart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute Dimitri Foulquier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everardo Ado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Edmundo Cañas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. The corner led to Algarrobo's Wilfredo Marchetti getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Nadie nos Para's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Armando Lamb came free, but Gregorio Illart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Everardo Ado made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Lorenzo Bizen sent off a good shot on target. When Per-Åke Albohm fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nadie nos Para's protests and gave Per-Åke Albohm a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd match minute, Nadie nos Para was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Åke Albohm to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Nadie nos Para's goalkeeper Gregorio Illart, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Edmundo Cañas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Algarrobo's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Cañas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregorio Illart breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Algarrobo booed when Nadie nos Para was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Velloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Ignacio Vera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Cañas in the 46th minute of play forced Nadie nos Para's goalkeeper Gregorio Illart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Algarrobo getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Loreto Antoine hit a great ball. After the first half Algarrobo were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Nadie nos Para's Gregorio Illart proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Nadie nos Para from getting a goal against them. Gregorio Illart was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edmundo Cañas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 93 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Omer Dolar during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
