Radomil Mietus hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After 8 minutes of play, BEST FABIO F.C.'s Rodrigo Garro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pastor Firman was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 11th minute Radomil Mietus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olivier Dubs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th match minute, BEST FABIO F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florian Galeone to maneuver through the defense. Waldemar Przybylo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Olivier Dubs made a huge save. Olivier Dubs was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sebastian Verón showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 17 minute of play. Olivier Dubs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Verón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olivier Dubs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomil Mietus in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute Rodrigo Garro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Firman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Verón could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Olivier Dubs made a huge save. When Rodrigo Garro fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BEST FABIO F.C.'s protests and gave Rodrigo Garro a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 played minutes BEST FABIO F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Garro. In the 44th match minute, Club Sportivo Quilmes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludomir Witkowski to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

BEST FABIO F.C.'s Olivier Dubs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radomil Mietus in the 59th minute of play. Olivier Dubs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomil Mietus in the 63rd minute of play. Ludomir Witkowski made in the 64th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Arnold Ponk however managed to control. After 65 minutes of play, Club Sportivo Quilmes's Radomil Mietus made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olivier Dubs was left in no man's land by his defense there! Club Sportivo Quilmes's Samuel Medero was substituted for Emanuel Ladio. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind BEST FABIO F.C.'s goalkeeper Olivier Dubs, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arnold Ponk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olivier Dubs read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Olivier Dubs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Oihan, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Olivier Dubs came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Sportivo Quilmes's Qu Xuan Yang. But to his dismay, Qu Xuan Yang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Oihan in the 92nd minute of play forced BEST FABIO F.C.'s goalkeeper Olivier Dubs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pastor Firman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stor Klack, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in BEST FABIO F.C.'s zone, Sebastian Verón stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olivier Dubs came out of the goal and Sebastian Verón tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Club Sportivo Quilmes walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
