Ümit Salik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Erwin Teesing made a huge save. Dirk Jan de Lange received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Turgay Şeren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, ASC South United's Hugo Bender got a free kick in the 9th minute. Erwin Teesing was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Yunus Yürük. After a defensive mix-up in ASC South United's zone, Murathan Samih stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erwin Teesing came out of the goal and Murathan Samih tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the match, F.C. KASABALI 45's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Willem van den Brink came free, but Turgay Şeren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erwin Teesing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murathan Samih, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ümit Salik got free with Erwin Teesing in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tayfun Eren kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. F.C. KASABALI 45's Turgay Şeren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dirk Jan de Lange in the 29th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ASC South United's Pascall van Galen got a free kick in the 31st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pascall van Galen during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jan-Willem van den Brink charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jan-Willem van den Brink the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th minute, Jan-Willem van den Brink hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ASC South United's Erwin Teesing proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save ASC South United from getting a goal against them. Murathan Samih struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Erwin Teesing didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. KASABALI 45. Yunus Yürük's late challenge caught a ASC South United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yunus Yürük helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th minute, one of F.C. KASABALI 45:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for F.C. KASABALI 45. Pascall van Galen shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Ümit Salik made the kick off in the second half. ASC South United's Dirk Jan de Lange got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pascall van Galen kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute Murathan Samih shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erwin Teesing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the ASC South United defense, Ümit Salik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erwin Teesing. The ASC South United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erwin Teesing should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the ASC South United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for F.C. KASABALI 45.
