The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Reis Birsel fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Operário Futebol Clube's protests and gave Reis Birsel a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Operário Futebol Clube's Reis Birsel got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Paşa Nada made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Orland Uceda sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Jan Koller took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Paşa Nada to make any attempt to save it. Paz Ungo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reis Birsel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th play minute Orland Uceda came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Paşa Nada. 2-0. Orland Uceda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paşa Nada having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Operário Futebol Clube's zone, Oinomoas Konstantatos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paşa Nada came out of the goal and Oinomoas Konstantatos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Operário Futebol Clube's Paşa Nada got control of the ball when Nicasio Guipuzcoa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oinomoas Konstantatos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paşa Nada having to interfere. Jules Araujo kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Operário Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Paşa Nada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan Koller. After recieving a nice pass, Deportivo Ortegano's Orlandus Torrascasana tried to score from far away in the 43rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Christian Arandoja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomasz Bambas was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 46 minutes into the match. Tomasz Bambas kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manoel dos Santos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Operário Futebol Clube's Paşa Nada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicasio Guipuzcoa in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oinomoas Konstantatos in the 54th minute of play forced Operário Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Paşa Nada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paz Ungo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mané Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 57th minute Mané Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paz Ungo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mané Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paşa Nada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orland Uceda in the 64th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Operário Futebol Clube's zone, Christian Arandoja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paşa Nada came out of the goal and Christian Arandoja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paz Ungo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reis Birsel in the 71st minute. Paz Ungo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 71st minute, which inside left pole to 3-1. Deportivo Ortegano's Primo Buiza was substituted for Orlandus Torrascasana. Deportivo Ortegano's Basílio Caetano was substituted for Jan Koller. Paşa Nada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oinomoas Konstantatos, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Paz Ungo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manoel dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 80 minutes, Orland Uceda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Ortegano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orland Uceda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Paz Ungo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 88th minute, Orland Uceda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paşa Nada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orland Uceda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deportivo Ortegano were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Operário Futebol Clube for a fine match.
