Augustin Bălăiță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasil Štěpaník, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute of the match, Daniel Sterescu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Moises Jaume was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 13th minute, Mavrudi Chapalov reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Moises Jaume. The goal made the score 1-1. Moises Jaume made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Dan Scutaru sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Radomil Witkowski during the 21st minute. After a rather tough play, Gzpn Timisoara's Sabin Tatomir got a free kick in the 38th minute. Gzpn Timisoara's Augustin Bălăiță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasil Štěpaník in the 39th minute of play. When C.A.C. 10's Flavio Laurgain in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 58th minute Ernesto Mastrangelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augustin Bălăiță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, C.A.C. 10's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Sterescu came free, but Moises Jaume reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Laurgain's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Augustin Bălăiță read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gzpn Timisoara's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ernesto Mastrangelo was slow to take the kick. During this time C.A.C. 10's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Elliott Eastman drilling the ball in to score 2-4 behind Gzpn Timisoara's goalkeeper. In the 72nd minute, Flavio Laurgain left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A.C. 10 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. Flavio Laurgain scored 2-6 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Augustin Bălăiță, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gogo Izotz got free with Augustin Bălăiță in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
