In the 35th minute Cássio Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maria Gibon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 played minutes Go Ahead Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Vural Akyol. Scarafia Ghost made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when I-Made 王磊奕 sent off a good shot on target. Iakovos Efthimiadis made in the 41st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Iustin Bâru however managed to control. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaroslaw Rydz got free with Scarafia Ghost in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 46 minutes into the game, Ceferino Nalo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. WiTeK TeAm's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Go Ahead Eagles the free kick. Ceferino Nalo hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The supporters of Go Ahead Eagles booed when WiTeK TeAm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Nalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 48 minutes into the match, WiTeK TeAm's goal looked a bit too open when Iustin Bâru came free, but Maria Gibon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Konstanty Janiczek was the one to do the kick off. WiTeK TeAm's Maria Gibon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save WiTeK TeAm from getting a goal against them. 54 minutes into the match, Cássio Gonçalves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maria Gibon. WiTeK TeAm's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cássio Gonçalves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Go Ahead Eagles's Scarafia Ghost played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konstanty Janiczek in the 56th minute of play. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Go Ahead Eagles's goalkeeper Scarafia Ghost, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Gonçalves in the 66th minute of play forced WiTeK TeAm's goalkeeper Maria Gibon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute Konstanty Janiczek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Scarafia Ghost saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Konstanty Janiczek got in the 70th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Scarafia Ghost handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Maria Gibon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cássio Gonçalves struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Maria Gibon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Go Ahead Eagles. In the 81st minute of the match, Cássio Gonçalves tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Maria Gibon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. WiTeK TeAm's Maria Gibon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save WiTeK TeAm from getting a goal against them. Erling Lewandowski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maria Gibon came out and tried to block the shot, but Erling Lewandowski slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 92nd minute. After 95 played minutes Go Ahead Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Panos Kaklamanos. The Go Ahead Eagles players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
