The referee showed Johannes Trulsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th minute, Johannes Trulsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erik van Harten got free with Nils-Erik Alin in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Saleen's Zé Pedro Mandrak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boris Glanselius in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute Boris Glanselius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Pedro Mandrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20 minutes FC Saleen's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Christoffer Lundgren who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Christoffer Lundgren almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Saleen's Zé Pedro Mandrak did a great save. Zé Pedro Mandrak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Käller in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Martien Zoetmulder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Saleen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A2 IF the free kick. After 23 played minutes FC Saleen got a freekick which was hit by Martien Zoetmulder. Zé Pedro Mandrak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Trulsson in the 24th minute of the match. After 25 minutes of play, A2 IF's Benjamin Metsberg made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé Pedro Mandrak was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zé Pedro Mandrak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toader Drogba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Johannes Trulsson made a precise shot to the right of Zé Pedro Mandrak. FC Saleen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. If Boris Glanselius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Johannes Trulsson made a kick off. In the 51st minute Boris Glanselius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Pedro Mandrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Saleen's Zé Pedro Mandrak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Saleen from getting a goal against them. Johannes Trulssons short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Zé Pedro Mandrak to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Zé Pedro Mandrak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toader Drogba, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. A collision led to FC Saleen getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Martien Zoetmulder hit a great ball. When Boris Glanselius came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the A2 IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boris Glanselius couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute, Nils-Emil Hansson made a precise shot to the right of Zé Pedro Mandrak. FC Saleen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. The audience was convinced that Nils-Emil Hansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé Pedro Mandrak was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. FC Saleen's Zé Pedro Mandrak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Saleen from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, A2 IF's Göran Friberger got a free kick in the 95th minute. 96 minutes into the match, A2 IF's goal looked a bit too open when Erik van Harten came free, but Nils-Erik Alin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded A2 IF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Saleen.
