Charlie Hennenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yusuf Mbappè, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Şeref Ayhan did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Charlie Hennenberg 33 minutes into the match. If Cristiano Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Şeref Ayhan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Charlie Hennenberg made a huge save. With a little luck, Leão de Judá's Charlie Hennenberg got control of the ball when Yusuf Mbappè tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
