It was a well-played corner which Pedro Velloso managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Gracie Barra's Falcão Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belchior Valadão in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Jago Štriker left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gracie Barra fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 19 minutes into the game, Gracie Barra's Augusto Saldanha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Salvador Sordo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 22nd minute Laureano Portugal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augusto Saldanha's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Salvador Sordo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jago Štriker in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Salvador Sordo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eureka's Salvador Sordo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Eureka from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Belchior Valadão got free with Falcão Cunha in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. For all the effort they put into the match, the Eureka players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gracie Barra.
