In the 41st minute Türker Türkoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesse McJames saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Phillip McKeochan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Tommy Gunn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. César Xaviers short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Jesse McJames to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Phillip McKeochan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Üzeyir İzgi was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. 59 minutes in the game, César Xavier fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jesse McJames having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Ａ Ｙ Ｉ Ｎ Ｔ Ａ Ｐ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Graeme Gordon came free, but Üzeyir İzgi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Türker Türkoğlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jesse McJames having to make a save. César Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesse McJames having to interfere. Ａ Ｙ Ｉ Ｎ Ｔ Ａ Ｐ FC made a substitution. Ziya Sayhan replaced Türker Türkoğlu. Torgny Odeen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Phillip McKeochan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Üzeyir İzgi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Graeme McRobie put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Üzeyir İzgi. Smiddy Celts's Jesse McJames played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by César Xavier in the 88th minute of play. Jesse McJames made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Ziya Sayhan sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Ziya Sayhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ａ Ｙ Ｉ Ｎ Ｔ Ａ Ｐ FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ziya Sayhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jesse McJames breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
