After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo David Mardel's zone, Liam de Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gogo Leguizamón came out of the goal and Liam de Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Deportivo David Mardel defense, Hubert Valler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gogo Leguizamón. The Deportivo David Mardel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gogo Leguizamón should have stopped the shot. 12 minutes into the match, Deportivo David Mardel's goalkeeper Gogo Leguizamón had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Liam de Almeida. In the 15th minute, Hubert Valler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Med Gang FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The audience was convinced that Hubert Valler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gogo Leguizamón was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Hubert Valler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
