Fausto da Rocha came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by El Stradivarius's Igor Jarmulowicz. But to his dismay, Igor Jarmulowicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. El Stradivarius's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Jan Bykowski scored to the left of an out of position Jedrzej Galus, making the score, 1-1. Jan Bykowski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jedrzej Galus came out and tried to block the shot, but Jan Bykowski slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 18th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matouš Carda got free with Jedrzej Galus in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Trotta in the 32nd minute of play forced AFC - Curitiba's goalkeeper Fausto da Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute Igor Jarmulowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto da Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Igor Jarmulowicz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Fausto da Rocha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Silvio Asier charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvio Asier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd minute, Silvio Asier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute, Igor Jarmulowicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Stradivarius fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

AFC - Curitiba made a substitution. Zhang Yin Si replaced Wanderson Oliveira. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romário Ortiz was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, El Stradivarius was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Bermund to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute, August Wahlnäs ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jedrzej Galus was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-5. In the 89th minute Matouš Carda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jedrzej Galus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvio Asier made in the 91st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Matouš Carda immediately put the ball in play. Eugenio Bermund hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The El Stradivarius players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
