In the 7th minute of the match, Szymon Bugajski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Franco Armani saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Basmane Texas's Gürsel Aksel got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gürsel Aksel in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arkadiusz Barniszke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 12th minute, Gürsel Aksel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Basmane Texas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Gürsel Aksel put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Arkadiusz Barniszke. Franco Armani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Korneliusz Pawlak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Basmane Texas's goalkeeper Franco Armani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Klement Gonsiewski. After a defensive mix-up in FC Barcelona's zone, Gürsel Aksel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arkadiusz Barniszke came out of the goal and Gürsel Aksel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 46 played minutes FC Barcelona got a freekick which was hit by Pawel Paciuszko. In the 47th minute, Gürsel Aksel made a precise shot to the right of Arkadiusz Barniszke. FC Barcelona's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gürsel Aksel to make the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Gürsel Aksel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arkadiusz Barniszke, 0-9. Basmane Texas's Liviu Marinescu was substituted for Lou Lou. The crowd rose to their feet as Basmane Texas's Gürsel Aksel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arkadiusz Barniszke. That made the score 0-10 after 65 minutes of play. The audience was convinced that Gürsel Aksel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arkadiusz Barniszke was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Gürsel Aksel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arkadiusz Barniszke came out and tried to block the shot, but Gürsel Aksel slotted it home off the left post making it 0-11 in the 70th minute. Basmane Texas made a substitution. Jan-Joost Sielis replaced Ulvi Gencal. The supporters of Basmane Texas booed when FC Barcelona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karol Gozdowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute, Gürsel Aksel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arkadiusz Barniszke was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-12. Arkadiusz Barniszke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gürsel Aksel in the 90th minute. When the match was over Basmane Texas could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Barcelona throughout the match.
