In the 44th minute Conrado Ramond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sezai Yura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 45 minutes, Calistrat Geangu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gastres FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Calistrat Geangu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Gastres FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Göran Nyström hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teobaldo Belmiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Gastres FC got a freekick which was hit by Calistrat Geangu. When Conrado Ramond came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Gastres FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrado Ramond couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calistrat Geangu in the 58th minute of play forced Lokomotiv Bornova's goalkeeper Sezai Yura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geronimo Ongile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germanas Judeikis in the 62nd minute of play. Teobaldo Belmiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Sezai Yura made a huge save. Sezai Yura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Ramond in the 65th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Conrado Ramond in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sezai Yura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teobaldo Belmiro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Sezai Yura skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Geronimo Ongile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Germanas Judeikis in the 76th minute of the match. If Ahmet Korcan Gökalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gastres FC made a substitution. Benjamin Neto replaced Conrado Ramond. Gastres FC's Feliberto Cuarto was substituted for Tomasz Zurawski. Germanas Judeikis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geronimo Ongile read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. With an all-out effort, Gastres FC's Sezai Yura threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Benjamin Neto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Germanas Judeikis struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Geronimo Ongile didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lokomotiv Bornova. Lokomotiv Bornova succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Gastres FC had controlled the match.
