Stéphane Gaudy really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 7 minutes into the match, AZURDUY F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Eddy Brayer came free, but Teodosio Iigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tom Hermansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tom Hermansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dave Rinaldi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tom Hermansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. AZURDUY F.C.'s Teodosio Iigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save AZURDUY F.C. from getting a goal against them. Christian Minaud's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Teodosio Iigo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dave Rinaldi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tom Hermansson in the 18th minute of play. After 19 minutes Elegance Dijon's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Károly Bogdán who took care of the corner kick. AZURDUY F.C.'s Vinicio Venceslao was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dave Rinaldi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Teodosio Iigo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabien Cantin went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Teodosio Iigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stéphane Gaudy in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Niclas Füllkrug left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AZURDUY F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 35 minutes into the match, AZURDUY F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Fabien Cantin came free, but Teodosio Iigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teodosio Iigo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Minaud in the 36th minute. 40 minutes into the match, AZURDUY F.C.'s goalkeeper Teodosio Iigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Minaud. The supporters of Elegance Dijon booed when AZURDUY F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sun Feng Chen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Teodosio Iigo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.

After having played for 51 minutes, Tom Hermansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AZURDUY F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Tom Hermansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teodosio Iigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Minaud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tom Hermansson during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to AZURDUY F.C. getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Tom Hermansson hit a great ball. AZURDUY F.C. made a substitution. Berker Soytekin replaced Elpidio Laurgain. AZURDUY F.C.'s Manuel Valerio was substituted for Vinicio Venceslao. Tom Hermansson kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Bryan Krafft hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Petr Vosáhlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Elegance Dijon's goalkeeper Dave Rinaldi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The AZURDUY F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when AZURDUY F.C.'s Tom Hermansson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When AZURDUY F.C.'s Niclas Füllkrug in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tom Hermansson in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dave Rinaldi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 77 minutes into the match, Elegance Dijon's goalkeeper Dave Rinaldi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niclas Füllkrug. Dave Rinaldi made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Niclas Füllkrug sent off a good shot on target. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by Elegance Dijon's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Károly Bogdán was slow to take the kick. During this time AZURDUY F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Gilles Baur hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the match, Elegance Dijon's goalkeeper Dave Rinaldi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niclas Füllkrug. 90 minutes into the game, AZURDUY F.C.'s Petr Vosáhlo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dave Rinaldi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Elegance Dijon's Dave Rinaldi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niclas Füllkrug in the 94th minute of play. Christian Minaud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Teodosio Iigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The AZURDUY F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
