Ştefan Stoica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Cuss having to interfere. Gabríel Vassaras struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Benjamin Cuss didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vc Brye. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Gabríel Vassaras sped through Goo Goo Dolls's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benjamin Cuss. Thanks to some nice moves Gabríel Vassaras could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Benjamin Cuss however easily saved by the left post. Benjamin Cuss made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Gabríel Vassaras sent off a good shot on target. If Cacá Mangione had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Benjamin Cuss managed to avoid a goal in the 48thth minute, when Vc Brye's Gabríel Vassaras fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gabríel Vassaras was the one to do the kick off. Benjamin Cuss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabríel Vassaras, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Benjamin Cuss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabríel Vassaras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Goo Goo Dolls's Benjamin Cuss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabríel Vassaras in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ştefan Stoica in the 84th minute of play forced Goo Goo Dolls's goalkeeper Benjamin Cuss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vc Brye's supporters rose to their feet, but Ştefan Stoica was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin Cuss breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 94 minutes into the match, Goo Goo Dolls's goal looked a bit too open when Gabríel Vassaras came free, but Benjamin Cuss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 96 minutes, Gabríel Vassaras made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Goo Goo Dolls's Benjamin Cuss tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Vc Brye's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
