Agus Young got free in front of the goal in the 4th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Erik Pihlblad was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Andres Guerau made in the 6th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Alfredo Mon immediately put the ball in play. The supporters of Santa Lucia de Merlo booed when Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Iraitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denis Maureo hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the match, Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when M. Agus Young came free, but Erik Pihlblad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th match minute, Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvarez Håland to maneuver through the defense. After 23 played minutes Santa Lucia de Merlo got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Chano. Amado Iraitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Florentino Herauso made a huge save. Arnaldo Chano made a great header on Santa Lucia de Merlo's corner, it was just that Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's Erik Pihlblad managed to reach the ball for a save. 31 minutes into the game, M. Agus Young cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Erik Pihlblad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denis Maureo during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's Denis Maureo got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute M. Agus Young shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Pihlblad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. M. Agus Young scored 0-3 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erik Pihlblad, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Denis Maureo hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alvarez Håland was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, M. Agus Young dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Erik Pihlblad, 0-4. Santa Lucia de Merlo's Levan Poggenborg was substituted for Ermegildo Salamon. If Polo Quinteros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Erik Pihlblad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Polo Quinteros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albino Sein kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Albino Sein hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's Yakov Abramov got a free kick in the 72nd minute. With an all-out effort, Santa Lucia de Merlo's Erik Pihlblad threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Polo Quinteros, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 79 minutes of play, Santa Lucia de Merlo's Polo Quinteros made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erik Pihlblad was left in no man's land by his defense there! Polo Quinteros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Erik Pihlblad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Levan Poggenborg. After 88 minutes Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arnaldo Chano who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Kong Chang Zheng got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Erik Pihlblad quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Kong Chang Zheng sped through Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Erik Pihlblad. In the 92nd minute, Polo Quinteros reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Erik Pihlblad. The goal made the score 0-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Polo Quinteros in the 96th minute of play forced Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Erik Pihlblad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santa Lucia de Merlo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
