Abelardo Maranhense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniele Bevilacqua, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After 8 minutes of play, Olivedos's Luisinho Ceresso made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pär Are was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alfredo Quattrocchi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abelardo Maranhense having to make a save. Luisinho Ceresso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Pär Are made a huge save. Montechiarugolo AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Donato Oliveira scored to the left of an out of position Pär Are, making the score, 2-0. Abelardo Maranhense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cacá 赵云乐 in the 22nd minute of the match. Pär Are took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Ferraz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abelardo Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniele Bevilacqua in the 28th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Montechiarugolo AFC's Alvise Manzi got a free kick in the 29th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Olivedos's goal looked a bit too open when Anfilogino Preda came free, but Abelardo Maranhense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cássio Ferraz struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Pär Are didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olivedos. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cássio Ferraz during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Olivedos's Cássio Ferraz got a free kick in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Anfilogino Preda made the kick off in the second half. Pär Are made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Oliveira in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Montechiarugolo AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luisinho Ceresso was slow to take the kick. During this time Olivedos's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Olivedos's Rômulo Custódio to fire away a dangerous shot which Pär Are despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cássio Ferraz in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pär Are prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 58th minute Donato Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pär Are saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pär Are took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Ferraz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Montechiarugolo AFC's Fedele Marinetti was substituted for Anfilogino Preda. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Montechiarugolo AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luisinho Ceresso was slow to take the kick. During this time Olivedos's players had a chance to rest. Rômulo Custódio was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Montechiarugolo AFC's Ciro Di Renzo was substituted for Alfredo Zuccarini. If Cássio Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olivedos's Abel de Godoi was substituted for Osvaldinho Veiga. 80 minutes into the match, Montechiarugolo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Abel de Godoi came free, but Pär Are reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emilio Urbino's late challenge caught a Olivedos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emilio Urbino helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Montechiarugolo AFC's Emilio Urbino got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Olivedos's Abelardo Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniele Bevilacqua in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel de Godoi in the 86th minute of play forced Montechiarugolo AFC's goalkeeper Pär Are to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olivedos's attentive Rubinho Chaves managed to snatch the ball when Emilio Urbino made a throw-in in the 91st minute of the game. In the 94th minute Donato Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pär Are saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Olivedos fans cheered their team off the field, for while Montechiarugolo AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
