Spectators: 169 (Terracing: 127, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ola Lund took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rdth minute of the game Sven-Ove Stål who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Garphyttan's Erik Skog was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Donato de Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Alfons Sjö tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 6 minutes into the game, Michael Kvalfält was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Garphyttan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Garsås IF the free kick. A collision led to Garphyttan getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Michael Kvalfält hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, Rähim Sterling had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfons Sjö. Garsås IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rähim Sterling was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Donato de Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfons Sjö showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato de Salles in the 21st minute of the match. Garsås IF's Ola Lund got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Garsås IF's goal looked a bit too open when Rähim Sterling came free, but Alfons Sjö reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Albäck in the 31st minute of play forced Garsås IF's goalkeeper Alfons Sjö to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfons Sjö showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rähim Sterling, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 35 minutes into the game, Rähim Sterling cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Alfons Sjö was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 37th match minute, Garphyttan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulf Wennerquist to maneuver through the defense. Alfons Sjö showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rähim Sterling in the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Rähim Sterling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfons Sjö saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 51st minute, Jörn Petersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 55 minutes into the match, Garphyttan's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Ove Stål came free, but Erik Skog reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 56 minutes, Jan-Åke Jonasson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Garsås IF and the Garphyttan players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, Garsås IF's Alfons Sjö got control of the ball when Jörn Petersson tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Ove Stål in the 68th minute of play forced Garphyttan's goalkeeper Erik Skog to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 minutes Garphyttan's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Archie Brodie who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Garsås IF's corner Enrico Cesaroni fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Erik Skog quite easily take care of the ball. Garsås IF's Alfons Sjö played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Kvalfält in the 73rd minute of play. Alfons Sjö showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rähim Sterling in the 75th minute of the match. With a little luck, Garsås IF's Alfons Sjö got control of the ball when Rähim Sterling tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Garphyttan defense, Sven-Ove Stål kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erik Skog. The Garphyttan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erik Skog should have stopped the shot. Garsås IF's Maicon Pereira was substituted for Enrico Cesaroni. Garphyttan made a substitution. Algot Ahlfors replaced Viktor Albäck. Garphyttan's Jim Kellman was substituted for Michael Kvalfält. In the 88th minute Rähim Sterling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfons Sjö saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Garsås IF's Alfons Sjö played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rähim Sterling in the 90th minute of play. Alfons Sjö made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jim Kellman in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Rähim Sterling ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfons Sjö was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. When the match was over Garphyttan could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Garsås IF throughout the match.
