El Retorno de Palermo were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Kaiser!'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Martin Videl took the corner. Aytek Samin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Oñate in the 12th minute of play. The corner led Kaiser!'s Díaz Calonge to fire away a dangerous shot which Aytek Samin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience was convinced that Martin Videl's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esteban Dreer was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. The Kaiser! fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. When the referee ended the match the Kaiser! players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
