After 94 played minutes GUSESI got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Sanduru. 95 minutes into the game, Fedele Evangelista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atletico Benevento's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GUSESI the free kick. The Atletico Benevento fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. GUSESI were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
