The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Baki Lebib got free with Aristide Iftodi in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aristide Iftodi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Baki Lebib in the 7th minute of play. CF REALCipri's Aristide Iftodi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamílton Vergílio in the 10th minute of play. With a little luck, CF REALCipri's Aristide Iftodi got control of the ball when Ahmet Baki Lebib tried to sneak it across the goal line. Artur Sarnat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codruț Calota in the 13th minute of the match. After 13 minutes of play, CF REALCipri's Codruț Calota made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Artur Sarnat was left in no man's land by his defense there! Christer Belzner who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Aristide Iftodi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 16 minutes into the game, Christer Belzner lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Aristide Iftodi. FC GIDLE were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after CF REALCipri's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hamílton Vergílio took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of CF REALCipri's goalie and right to Christer Belzner. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. CF REALCipri's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Aristide Iftodi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zdzislaw Krzynowek in the 26th minute of play. Aristide Iftodi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamílton Vergílio, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 30 minutes into the match, CF REALCipri's goal looked a bit too open when Zdzislaw Krzynowek came free, but Aristide Iftodi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute Christer Belzner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristide Iftodi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aristide Iftodi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christer Belzner in the 35th minute of play. In the 35th match minute, CF REALCipri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavius Balaci to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in CF REALCipri's zone, Christer Belzner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristide Iftodi came out of the goal and Christer Belzner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Artur Sarnat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valeriu Marin, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Hamílton Vergílio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Aristide Iftodi made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Codruț Calota to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, CF REALCipri's goal looked a bit too open when Christer Belzner came free, but Aristide Iftodi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute Zdzislaw Krzynowek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristide Iftodi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aristide Iftodi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christer Belzner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aristide Iftodi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christer Belzner in the 61st minute of the match. The supporters of FC GIDLE booed when CF REALCipri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marian Juverdeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christer Belzner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC GIDLE's Tomasz Skikiewicz was substituted for Christer Belzner. The audience was convinced that Ahmet Baki Lebib's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aristide Iftodi was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. FC GIDLE's Artur Sarnat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valeriu Marin in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute Tomasz Skikiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristide Iftodi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Baki Lebib might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aristide Iftodi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet Baki Lebib ran back to his position shaking his head. CF REALCipri's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
