Varban Pavlikyanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Aníbal Sá came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Clube Atl. Taquaritinga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aníbal Sá couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Aníbal Sá put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Fábio Pinheiro. In the 36th minute, David Lima ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fábio Pinheiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. When Clube Atl. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sandro Nogueira was the one to do the kick off. Breno Loyola replaced Armando Graack. 63 minutes in the game Renatinho Oliveira did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Hélder Antunes. Fábio Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breno Loyola in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute Clube Atl. Taquaritinga were awarded a corner. Tarcisio Couto went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Tarcisio Couto almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gremio NG's Fábio Pinheiro did a great save. In the 67thth minute of the game Breno Loyola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gremio NG's Fábio Pinheiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Haroldo Dante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandro Nogueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Leonel Messi was substituted for David Lima. The supporters of Gremio NG booed when Clube Atl. Taquaritinga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philippe Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Travassos in the 81st minute of play forced Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's goalkeeper Haroldo Dante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gremio NG's Fábio Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Sá in the 82nd minute of play. After having played for 83 minutes, Breno Loyola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Breno Loyola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sandrinho Gaspar kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After 88 played minutes Clube Atl. Taquaritinga got a freekick which was hit by Nilmar de Moraes. Fábio Pinheiro made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Aníbal Sá sent off a good shot on target. Leonel Messi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Fábio Pinheiro made a huge save. A nice corner shot did that Tarcisio Couto got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fábio Pinheiro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
