Clube dos pro's Toninho Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo De Vito in the 11th minute of play. Carloforte f.c. were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Clube dos pro's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cristoforo Melfi took the corner. The corner ended in Cristoforo Melfi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Clube dos pro's Toninho Quadros did a great save. Toninho Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elia Ritacco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Amedeo Orioli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Toninho Quadros. Clube dos pro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amedeo Orioli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, Amedeo Orioli notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Clube dos pro's Toninho Quadros. Toninho Quadros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Toninho Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo De Vito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Arturo De Vito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carloforte f.c.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo De Vito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toninho Quadros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Clube dos pro defense, Elia Ritacco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Toninho Quadros. The Clube dos pro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Toninho Quadros should have stopped the shot. Clube dos pro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carloforte f.c. the free kick. After a rather tough play, Clube dos pro's Ulisses Ramalho got a free kick in the 48th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Clube dos pro's zone, Cristoforo Melfi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toninho Quadros came out of the goal and Cristoforo Melfi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The wind increased when Doni Lima made the kick off in the second half. Elia Ritacco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Toninho Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Carloforte f.c.'s Amedeo Orioli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Toninho Quadros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Elia Ritacco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Toninho Quadros came out and tried to block the shot, but Elia Ritacco slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 62nd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Clube dos pro's goalkeeper Toninho Quadros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arturo De Vito. After a rather tough play, Clube dos pro's Rony Cordeiro got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 70th minute Amedeo Orioli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toninho Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augusto Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Beppe Savoia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Toninho Quadros yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. After 97 played minutes Clube dos pro got a freekick which was hit by Rony Cordeiro.
