Jörgen Strömberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. If Jörgen Strömberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Philip Säv's late challenge caught a Atlético Bucaramanga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. In the 42nd minute, Philip Säv ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan-Carlos Gonzalo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 45th match minute, Atlético Bucaramanga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Weterio Caceo to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Juan-Carlos Gonzalo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Elliott Tidén kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sherman Cardenas in the 49th minute of play forced Dalens Darlings's goalkeeper Ingmar Danielsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Weterio Caceo made the kick off in the second half. Elixio Garros struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Ingmar Danielsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Bucaramanga. After a rather tough play, Atlético Bucaramanga's Elixio Garros got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute, Philip Säv ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan-Carlos Gonzalo was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Elixio Garros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ingmar Danielsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juan-Carlos Gonzalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig Bjurström, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Atlético Bucaramanga's goal looked a bit too open when Jörgen Strömberg came free, but Juan-Carlos Gonzalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 played minutes Atlético Bucaramanga got a freekick which was hit by Ellande Aguinagalde. After some careless play in the Atlético Bucaramanga defense, Philip Säv kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan-Carlos Gonzalo. The Atlético Bucaramanga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan-Carlos Gonzalo should have stopped the shot. 76 minutes into the game, Dalens Darlings's Jörgen Strömberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan-Carlos Gonzalo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. The supporters of Dalens Darlings booed when Atlético Bucaramanga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sherman Cardenas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan-Carlos Gonzalo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Philip Säv went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Ingmar Danielsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Weterio Caceo in the 86th minute of the match. Juan-Carlos Gonzalo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philip Säv, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atlético Bucaramanga's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
