After a rather tough play, River tu grato nombre's Arkhyp Polyanskyi got a free kick in the 19th minute. Inge Mager struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Jayson Burnett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Redbull Sala. 22 minutes into the match, Viggo Göransson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jayson Burnett, 1-1. 28 minutes into the match, Redbull Sala's goal looked a bit too open when Jeff Clemons came free, but David Lundgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evert Sundström hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Redbull Sala's zone, Blaine Schaffer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Lundgren came out of the goal and Blaine Schaffer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd match minute, River tu grato nombre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marlin Dawson to maneuver through the defense. The corner ended in Blaine Schaffer almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Redbull Sala's David Lundgren did a great save. If Jeff Clemons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeff Clemons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. David Lundgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, Arkhyp Polyanskyi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. River tu grato nombre's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Redbull Sala the free kick. Arkhyp Polyanskyi hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. In the 49th minute, Inge Mager got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Blaine Schaffer was the one to do the kick off. In the 59th match minute, Redbull Sala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Göran Vestberg to maneuver through the defense. Blaine Schaffer, 59 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Einar Berggren hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Jayson Burnett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kjell-Arne Odeen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Blaine Schaffer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. David Lundgren came out and tried to block the shot, but Blaine Schaffer slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 79th minute. A collision led to Redbull Sala getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Thomas Brolin hit a great ball. Fredrik Gregersson hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute, River tu grato nombre's Jeff Clemons ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind David Lundgren. David Lundgren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Inge Mager kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Jeff Clemons got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. River tu grato nombre's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
